In Years 9 and 10, students take more responsibility for their learning.

They are encouraged to extend themselves, to hold themselves accountable for achieving their learning goals and to assume positions of responsibility within the school community. At Year 9 the core curriculum continues however students have the opportunity to pursue areas of particular interest through the elective subjects program.

Students can access opportunities designed to support their learning endeavours including the Peer Support Program, Bushwhacked, School for Student Leadership and the Victorian Young Leaders to China Program. Students can also elect to attend the Central Australia Camp or to participate in World Challenge.
