At Brunswick Secondary College we recognise student achievement in many ways.

Work Practices

The school places great importance on student Work Practices. Every term, all students who obtain high scores for their school work practices (as reported by their teachers) are awarded a certificate. Work Practice certificates reward effort, contribution to class and positive behaviour.

Assemblies

Whole-school assemblies are held at the end of each school term. These provide an occasion to celebrate the highlights of the term and assemblies often feature student speakers and performances. Parents are welcome to attend these assemblies.

Awards Night

An annual Awards Night is held in December, where students at each year level are recognised for individual achievement in areas that relate to our school values: Respect, Excellence, Teamwork, Achievement, Responsibility and Persistence.

Graduation

The Year 12 Graduation event recognises the achievements of our VCAL and VCE students each year, with special awards for Year 12 students presented at the Graduation Ceremony.
