Students in Year 7 are introduced to the school’s expectations of them as learners, and then are supported to develop the skills they need to take ownership of their learning as they move into higher year levels.

They are encouraged to understand their personal strengths and areas for development, and to set measurable, individual learning goals.

In Years 7 and 8 there is a core academic curriculum. This curriculum offers a breadth of experience across all learning areas. In Year 9, while completing core curriculum components, students also to make decisions regarding their personal learning pathways and have access to a range of elective subjects including Bushwhacked.  They can also pursue opportunities such as the Duke of Edinburgh Program and School for Student Leadership.
