2025 Swinburne Innovation Challenge

Brunswick Secondary College is proud to announce that Year 10 students Yuxuan Du, Ruby Mae Ruse, Lachlan McMahon, and Omer Cifiti have been awarded the Sustainability & Social Impact Team Award in the 2025 Swinburne Innovation Challenge.

The team was commended for their innovative approach to addressing issues of sustainability and social responsibility. Judges praised the clarity of their pitch and the way in which they made the problem both relatable and easy to understand. 

As part of their award, the team received a prize package for the school, so other students inspired by this team’s achievements have new resources to access.

This recognition is a testament to the students’ creativity, collaboration, and commitment to developing solutions with real-world impact.  The Brunswick Secondary College community congratulates the team on this outstanding achievement.
