Brunswick Secondary College is a diverse and unique environment. We have the honour of being a part of it and representing it as the 2013 School Captains.
BSC is a place of learning, opportunity and community. There is a common goal of success and achievement among us all. Our students and teachers strive for excellence in education and personal development. We are proud to have a strong, unrivalled school spirit. In classes, year levels, junior and senior sectors and as a whole school community, we work well together in teams.
Brunswick Secondary College promotes opportunity and involvement, no matter the avenue you wish to pursue. Devoted teachers and the positivity that comes with being a student here, allows us to achieve all we want plus more. This school offers extra enrichment programs and support, sparking further growth in hobbies, passions and skills.
Throughout the year, Brunswick’s students showcase the different facets of the school with a range of events that display our talent and enthusiasm. The Art and Design Exhibition, Clock Tower Concert, School Production, Images of Greatness and Chatterbox Public Speaking Competition are just some of the events we are looking forward to in 2013.
Brunswick SC is proud of our diversity. We encourage all students to bring their interests to school. Programs and activities to enhance their learning include sporting events across the year levels, writing competitions, performing arts, music lessons, public speaking and debating, leadership development and a range of study groups.
One of the goals for this year’s Student Representative Council is to implement a strong House Colours system. Its aim is to promote camaraderie among students of different year levels and further spread the spirit of community to all those at Brunswick Secondary College. Our new House names show pride in our diversity of cultures. They are Lan Se, Caagar, Oro and Abyad or Blue in Chinese, Green in Somali, Gold in Italian and White in Arabic.
We are elated to be School Captains of Brunswick Secondary College in 2013.It is a school that allows us freedom to explore interests and teaches us care and consideration for others while supporting us to achieve our academic goals.
