A Rich History

The red brick building that we know as the Brunswick Secondary College administration block was 100 years old in 2015.  We are incredibly proud to have celebrated a centenary of public education at the Dawson Street site. We honoured this occasion on  March 18 and 19 2016, celebrating the anniversary of the year the school first opened its doors to students.

Our historical exhibition, Stories from School, showcased in 2016, described the incredible story of the evolution of the school over the century and the unique place that it holds in the Brunswick community.

It is intended that the Exhibition History Panels will be returned to display at the school upon the completion of the 2017-18 Building Project, and continue to tell the story of the evolution of Brunswick Secondary College.
