Interschool sports for Year 8 were held on Friday 9th of March. Our Year 8 Volleyball team were invited at Melbourne Girls' College for a day full of fun and friendly competition. Our girls played with great enthusiasm. At  every point ,win or lose, the team continued to cheer and encourage each other. Although our girls did not make the final, the team put on a fantastic show. They played with smiles on their faces and challenged their opponents a number of times.
Elise Lovey was an outstanding captain to the girls, encouraging her team to come back from a losing set. I want to thank our Year 9 students, Hannah and Rachael ,for coming along and supporting the Year 8 volleyball team on the day. As part of their Sports Leadership program, Hannah and Rachael were involved in all aspects of the day . They were a great support not only in coaching the team but also in umpiring and scoring our matches. Well Done to all the girls. Ms. Mrmacovska
