As our new year 7 students experienced their first year level assembly and quickly settled into their first class, some parents took the opportunity to meet one another over a coffee and muffin in the staffroom. Here they heard from the School Captains, Peer Support Captains, Year 7 Assistant Principal, Junior School Leader, the new Canteen Managers and President of School Council, Maree Guppy.

Teachers reported that Year 7 students experienced a good first day and seemed to settle in quickly. While transition to secondary school is a smooth transition for most, some students will take a little longer to feel fully at home. Please reassure them that this is to be expected. The buildings and grounds which may seem so large and strange now will quickly become familiar territory just as the many new faces will become friends
